Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards while building trust with customers.

You will work with Parts and Service Advisors, conduct multi-point inspections, and participate in OEM training to stay current. This role offers competitive pay and benefits with opportunities to advance across AutoNation's nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document all work on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of non-standard tools used by technicians.
