Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, building customer trust. The role requires 2+ years of experience and automotive training, with a valid in-state license.

You will coordinate with advisors and parts to ensure timely service while documenting all work. We offer competitive pay from $28 to $42 per hour, paid training, OEM certification support, and clear paths to growth across service, sales, and management

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training varies by store needs.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order, with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair if authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and document work on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of standard tools and stay updated with factory bulletins.
