Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

The role features flat-rate pay and a $2000 sign-on bonus, with company-paid ASE certifications and ongoing training opportunities. A valid driver’s license and ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Brakes and hydraulics, or steering & suspension and alignments experience.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
