Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical issues and lead a team toward better customer care. The role offers a pay range and a flat-rate pay model, with company support for ASE certification and ongoing training.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, strong brakes/hydraulics, tire repair and general automotive maintenance skills, plus the ability to explain technical details to customers. A.S.E.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering, suspension and alignments.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification or license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics clearly.
• Keep up with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test fees paid by the company; bonuses for tests passed.
