Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care. The role offers a flat-rate pay model with potential earnings shown as a regional range.

Responsibilities include explaining repairs to customers, staying current with evolving automotive tech through formal training, and mentoring fellow technicians. ASE certification progress is supported with paid tests.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulic systems, steering and suspension.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems to specifications (brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, computer).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech via paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests funded by company; bonus per test passed.
