Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team and enhance customer care. The role offers competitive hourly pay and a flat-rate compensation model reflecting regional demand.

You will diagnose, repair, and explain findings to customers, pursue ASE certifications within two years, and stay current with automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension & alignments.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company; bonus for tests).
