Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading and mentoring a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will work on brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension, stay current with automotive technology through paid training, and pursue ASE certifications. A $1,750 sign-on bonus is offered for first-time hires, with a competitive, performance-based compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment as per specifications.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
