Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Atlanta seeks an experienced Technician A to perform brakes, rotors, fluid exchanges, oil changes, transmission and differential work, and other services. Customer communication is essential to educate on preventive maintenance.

Five+ years of related experience, ASE certifications, and state emissions knowledge are highly valued. Adheres to safety guidelines and maintains a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine tickets, notes and other correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Work on complex repairs and diagnostics, including transmissions and engine work.
• Helps train Technicians B and/or C.
• Repairs brakes, A/C, transmissions, power steering and suspension; diagnoses vehicle problems.
• Documents all work and conducts road tests as needed.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and organization; adheres to safety guidelines.
