Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an experienced Technician A with strong mechanical knowledge to perform brakes, rotors, fluid exchanges, oil changes, transmissions, differentials, cooling system maintenance and tire services. The role includes educating customers on preventive maintenance and may involve some courtesy services and tire work.

The technician is paid an hourly rate plus a standard company commission, works under supervision, and maintains clean, safe work area while complying with

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related automotive repair experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong communication skills for customer education and updates.
• Valid Driver's License; State Emissions Certification if applicable.
• Current ASE Certifications are a bonus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and diagnostics following repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Handles more complex jobs (transmissions, heavy-line repairs, engine work).
• Trains Technicians B and C and shares knowledge.
• Documents all work performed and communicates findings to customers.
• Maintains shop organization and safety; uses tools safely and reports hazards.
