Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking a Technician C to perform a variety of automotive repair tasks with average mechanical knowledge. You will diagnose problems, perform brakes, rotors, oil changes, and related maintenance, and educate customers on preventive care. You will document work and support safe, efficient service.

Responsibilities include safety, using tools, and collaborating with management to meet timeframes. A valid driver's license and basic certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or training, or equivalent
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals, and communicate with customers
• Valid Driver's License and state emission/vehicle inspections where applicable

Responsibilities

• Performs repair work outlined on orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection
• Examines vehicles for safety or service needs and advises accordingly
• Documents all work and tests road conditions as needed
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safety compliance
• Operates tools safely and reports any issues to management
• Participates in training programs
• Other tasks as assigned
