Job summary

Grease Monkey International in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Part Time Technician B responsible for performing brakes, oil changes, fluid exchanges, transmissions, cooling systems, tires, and more with guidance from Tech A/Center Manager. You will diagnose simple issues and document work, and communicate preventive maintenance to customers.

This role is paid hourly with a commission percentage standard across the company; prior ASE certification is a plus, valid driver's license required, and state

Qualifications

• Three(3) or more years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with supervisory direction and factory standards.
• Works on more complex repairs and diagnostics than a Tech C, including electrical systems and minor engine work.
• Can work independently on most tasks and may begin training Tech C.
• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
• Documents all work performed and recommended. Road tests vehicles as needed.
