Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Senior Technician in Buford, GA to repair and maintain vehicles per dealership and factory standards, building trust with customers. The role requires 2+ years as an automotive technician, high attention to detail, and valid in-state license. You will coordinate with Parts and Service Advisors and participate in ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training as needed by store requirements.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnosing causes of malfunctions and performing repairs when authorized by the customer.
• Conducting multi-point inspections and documenting work on the repair order.
• Maintaining an inventory of special tools and keeping up with factory bulletins and training.
