Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership to mentor a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a pay range of $19.57 - $31.12 per hour with flat-rate pay, plus benefits, paid training, and opportunities for ASE certifications within a large automotive network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering or alignment.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests paid by company).
