Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and guide a team to deliver exceptional customer care.

You will interact with customers, explain problems and proposed solutions, and mentor junior technicians. The role requires 3+ years of diagnostic experience, high school diploma, and ASE certifications; Section 609 certification and state inspection license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; automotive diagnostics and repair experience preferred.
• 3+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5 and 2 of A1, A6, A7, A8, L1) and Section 609 certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, steering and A/C systems.
• Explain repairs clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Mentor and lead other technicians to improve customer care and shop performance.
• Maintain organized, safe shop and comply with company policies and safety rules.
• Assist teammates and keep management informed of repair issues.
