Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Technician responsible for diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, guiding a team, and delivering superior service by educating customers on problems and proposed solutions for their vehicle.

The role requires 3+ years of automotive repair experience, 4+ ASE certifications preferred, and Section 609 certification. You will work days, nights, and weekends, while maintaining shop organization and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5 plus 2 of: A1, A6, A7, A8, L1).
• Section 609 certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Perform duties at a level commensurate with Technician roles and mentor junior staff.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and counterparts clearly.
• Keep the shop organized and maintain adherence to safety and environmental rules.
• Assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities and communicate issues to management.
