Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services while delivering exceptional customer experience. The role requires explaining repairs to customers and continuously updating technical knowledge to stay current with automotive technology.

The Technician will train and mentor coworkers, maintain a clean, organized shop, and adhere to safety and company policies while supporting a busy service environment in Naperville, IL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4 steering and suspension, A5 brakes).
• Section 609 certification preferred, state inspection license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment, perform all maintenance services.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions.
• Assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
