Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Senior Technician in Surprise, AZ to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to boost customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a flat-rate pay model with a regional pay range and performance incentives, with company support for training and ASE certs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing a wide range of automotive systems, explaining repairs to customers, continuous training, and mentoring junior techs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and AC systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years; tests paid by company; bonus for tests passed.
