Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a team toward excellent customer care. The role offers a flat-rate pay model with a range shown for this region and opportunities to earn through performance and ASE certifications.

The successful candidate will diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, suspension, exhaust, and electronic systems, explain findings to customers, and pursue ASE certifications

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within first two years of employment; tests and registrations fees paid by company; bonuses.
