Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension and brakes.
• Test to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning.
• Drive or test the vehicle using diagnostic tools and gauges.
• Maintain accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Follow a checklist to examine critical parts of the vehicle.
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems and brakes for issues.
• Use pneumatic wrenches and machine tools to service parts.
• Write vehicle damage repair estimates.
