Morrie's Brooklyn Park Subaru in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a full-time automotive technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions and systems across a range of vehicles. You will test components, road-test cars and follow standardized checklists to ensure quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
• Entry-level or beginner knowledge of cars is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes and related components.
• Test systems to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Road-test vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Follow a checklist to inspect critical vehicle parts.
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems and brakes for issues.
• Use power tools to remove bolts and rebuild brakes as needed.
• Utilize machine tools for brake work and precision shaping.
• Employ common hand tools to service small parts.
• Prepare and write vehicle damage repair estimates.
