The role requires hands-on diagnostic work, test driving, and accurate repair estimates; weekend and flexible hours may be required, with opportunities for advancement within Morrie’s Auto Group.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive engines and transmissions.
• Testing to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Ability to write vehicle repair estimates.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation.
• Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing.
• Follow checklists to inspect critical parts.
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes for issues.
• Use pneumatic wrenches to remove bolts.
• Use grinding machines and lathes to rebuild brakes.
• Write vehicle damage repair estimates.
