Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability for customers in Hawaii. You will work on newer fleet vehicles across multiple brands and may mentor other technicians.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, ASE certifications, and a strong knowledge base across engine, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, and HVAC systems. On-site work with competitive pay and benefits is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with ability to acquire 2 additional within first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE certification areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of vehicle makes and models with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and support shop performance.

Education

ASE Master Technician certifications (3+), ongoing upgrade
