Job summary

NAPA, a Genuine Parts Company brand, is seeking a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service in-store, by phone, or at a dealer's shop. You will look up parts, process orders accurately, and advise customers on parts and warranties.

Strong product knowledge and POS proficiency are essential. Role requires ASE Parts Specialist certification, ability to read part numbers, and comfort working in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be able to establish and maintain courteous, efficient customer relations.
• Identify part numbers and codes rapidly for accurate delivery.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage pressure.
• ASE Parts Specialist (automotive) certification is preferred.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle with manual transmission in service area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and demonstrate product knowledge to meet needs.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently with POS and catalogs.
• Advise customers on parts and warranties and resolve issues.
• Maintain POS system usage and pricing methods, ensure display appearance.
• Provide sales support by handling stock orders and reporting discrepancies.
• Participate in training as needed and perform other tasks as assigned.
