Job summary

The Genuine Parts Company family, including NAPA stores, is hiring a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service in-store or by phone. You will look up parts in catalogs or POS, process orders with accuracy, advise customers on solutions, and support store operations with product knowledge and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining POS skills, handling stock orders, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to provide courteous, efficient, professional service.
• Be ASE Parts Specialist (automotive) certified.
• Capable of recognizing part numbers and line codes quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work retail hours at any store location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and demonstrate product knowledge to meet needs.
• Process orders with accuracy, efficiency, and courtesy.
• Advise customers on how to best meet their needs, including technical questions.
• Maintain proficiency with the POS system and catalog.
• Assist with stock orders, reporting discrepancies, and store presentation.
• Support training and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
