Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a resilient Sr. Sales Executive to grow dealer partnerships across the assigned territory. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and represent ACV in person at dealerships and events.

You will build a prioritized prospect list, conduct live demos, negotiate agreements, and relentlessly pursue revenue targets while expanding ACV's market share across the region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2B field sales opening net-new accounts.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred).
• Able to travel outside assigned geographic area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list of new franchises and independent rooftops within the assigned territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach through in-person dealership visits, phone engagement, and regional events to develop relationships with decision makers.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities and key decision makers.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand prospect workflows, challenges, and current relationships.
• Position ACV's portfolio against dealer channels with data-driven value propositions.
• Conduct live in-person platform demos and educate dealers on operating policies.
• Introduce additional ACV product lines to support a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements, including pricing structure.
• Record pipeline activity in Salesforce and manage forecasting and reporting.
