Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive in the Buffalo area to drive new dealer partnerships and expand market share. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, focusing on high-value accounts and in-person relationship building.

You will travel within your territory, engage dealers at events and visits, and use data-driven insights to position ACV's wholesale platform. A track record of closing with senior decision-makers and fluency in English are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Track record of closing deals with senior decision makers (Dealer Principals/CEOs/COOs).
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline.
• Strong analytics to size opportunities and prioritize outreach.
• Willingness to travel daily in the field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list within the territory.
• Conduct in-person dealership visits and events to develop relationships with decision makers.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities and channels.
• Lead discovery meetings to understand prospect workflows and relationships.
• Position ACV products against dealer needs using data-driven value propositions.
• Demo platforms and educate dealers on operating policies.
• Introduce additional ACV product lines for a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements with pricing structures.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for account handoffs and accuracy in Salesforce.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and provide market feedback.
