Capgemini Engineering in Detroit is seeking an experienced leader to direct a portfolio of automotive engineering engagements across body systems, propulsion, electronics, and more. You will mentor delivery teams, manage client partnerships at executive level, and oversee profitability and resources.

This hybrid role offers opportunities to shape value-driven solutions, transition engagements to managed services, and contribute to growth while upholding high standards of delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering delivery programs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive engineering domains and systems.
• Proven success building client relationships and influencing executive stakeholders.
• Experience transforming delivery models (Time & Materials to Managed Services/Fixed Price).
• Strong project/program management with risk, scope, schedule and budget control.
• Ability to lead multicultural, globally distributed teams and drive performance.

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage a portfolio of automotive engineering engagements across multiple domains.
• Lead and mentor Engagement Managers and delivery teams, fostering high performance and talent development.
• Build trusted partnerships with senior customer stakeholders and align delivery with business objectives.
• Oversee portfolio profitability, resource utilization, staffing optimization, and global delivery alignment.
• Facilitate executive-level reviews and identify opportunities for improvement and service excellence.
• Support transitions toward Managed Services and outcome-based delivery models to enable scale.
