Job summary

Blue Chip Talent is seeking a senior automotive validation engineer to own DV/PV validation activities for ECUs in our Detroit-area operations. You will develop validation plans, define electrical, environmental, EMC, and EMI testing requirements, and interpret customer and internal specifications.

You will coordinate testing with external laboratories, obtain quotations, support POs, monitor tests, analyze data, and document results to drive corrective actions and retesting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive electronics validation experience with direct ECU-level DV/PV responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and environmental validation of automotive electronic hardware.
• Experience developing and executing DV/PV plans and interpreting automotive test specifications; experience coordinating validation activities with external test laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Own DV/PV validation activities for automotive ECUs.
• Develop validation plans and define electrical, environmental, EMC, and EMI testing requirements.
• Interpret customer, industry, and internal test specifications to determine required validation activities.
• Coordinate testing with external test laboratories and communicate technical requirements.
• Obtain test quotations and support purchase order and test scheduling processes.
• Monitor validation testing and troubleshoot test or hardware issues as needed.
• Analyze test data and determine compliance with applicable specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Document validation results, identify failures, and support corrective actions and retesting.
