Job summary

Inteva Products, a leading global automotive supplier, seeks an experienced Validation Engineer to lead DV&V activities for window regulators in Troy, Michigan. You will own test plans, coordinate readiness, and liaise with PM, product engineering and manufacturing to ensure lab alignment.

The role requires strong leadership, DV&V expertise, and collaboration with suppliers and customers, with hybrid onsite/remote work supported by business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in automotive validation, testing, product development, or related engineering field.
• Experience with validation requirements in automotive components.
• Experience creating and maintaining validation documentation.
• Experience with Design Verification and Validation (DV&V) activities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning and tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, quality, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage test plans (DVP&R) for window regulators.
• Submit test requests and manage execution of test plans.
• Coordinate validation readiness activities across PM, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and lab personnel.
• Coordinate inter-laboratory validation testing with internal and external labs.
• Support RFQs and future planning.
• Interpret validation and reliability results for engineering teams.
• Serve as SME for customer validation requirements, testing methods, and lab capabilities.
• Support ISO/IEC17025 management system in the lab.
• Become SME on LIMS and on the Test Incident Report Process (TIR).
