Job summary

RJ's Auto Pros, a GreatWater Garage, in Kent, OH, is seeking an experienced Master/Diagnostic Automotive Technician. You will diagnose and repair complex electrical and engine issues, including drivability, 4WD/AWD and HVAC systems, using modern tools in a shop that values integrity and craftsmanship.

You will perform thorough DVIs, mentor teammates, and maintain a clean, productive workspace. The role emphasizes technical leadership with ongoing training and growth within the GreatWater network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an A-Level Diagnostic Technician.
• State and local certifications to legally perform the work, including a valid driver’s license and MVR.
• ALL 8 ASE certifications preferred (A1–A8) or willingness to earn them.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and engine performance issues.
• Diagnose fuel, ignition, and drivability systems; 4WD/AWD drivetrain systems.
• Perform advanced steering, suspension, brake, HVAC diagnostics and repairs.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) with accurate recommendations.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment.
