MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for Automation to design, implement, maintain and repair automated systems within the CFC. Location at 100 MSC Dr, Jonestown, PA 17038; hours 6:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment, leadership of junior technicians, and scheduling routine maintenance. Prior PLC and automation troubleshooting experience is required, with strong problem-solving and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of five years job-related experience.
Certification or Degree in related area of maintenance.
Training in automation equipment.
Two or more years of experience troubleshooting and repairing controls equipment including PLCs.
Proficiency with conveyor system parts and operation (merges, sorters, VFDs, motors).
Able to read hydraulics, electrical information and pneumatics.
Able to operate scissor or boom lifts (30–50 ft).
Must obtain MSC license to drive warehouse vehicles.

Responsabilités

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
Lead and guide less experienced technicians during off-hours.
Schedule routine maintenance and respond to service requests with minimal supervision.
Identify, order, and replace parts for routine maintenance.
Document work orders and maintenance time accurately.
