We're seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to support electrical systems, controls, PLCs, and automated equipment in a modern production environment.
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial automation, electrical, and control systems
- Diagnose and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA-controlled equipment
- Troubleshoot 24V DC to 480V AC electrical systems
- Repair motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, servo systems, and starters
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Support equipment installations, automation upgrades, startups, and commissioning
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to equipment downtime and restore operations safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Associate degree or technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of industrial automation maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in industrial manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of HMI, SCADA, controls, and industrial communication networks
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Experience with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V
