Job summary

Citi in Tampa, Florida seeks a detail-oriented Software Test Analyst to join the Quality Assurance team. You will design, develop, and execute test plans, perform API and database testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

The role requires 2–5 years of testing experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with Jira and test tools. Hybrid/onsite work in Tampa offered.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, STLC and SDLC.
• 2 to 5 years of professional software testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cross-browser testing and Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests across Web, Mobile and Desktop platforms and environments.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira; collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
• Perform API testing and database validation using SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements.
