Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to take projects from concept to completion for customized automated assembly equipment. You will design, lead a design team, manage resources, and communicate timelines to customers and management.

The role involves robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, material handling, and GD&T. You will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and drive projects to meet budget and schedule with strong collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• BSME or similar degree with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated production equipment.
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• Experience with welding, fixture design and GD&T.
• Desirable: robotics, vision systems, computer controls, data acquisition.
• Direct experience working with customers and suppliers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage large projects to timelines.

Aufgaben

• Design overall for a custom automated machine and lead a design team as needed.
• Break down design effort into tasks, timelines, and milestones; manage resources.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, and material handling.
• Regularly communicate project status to customers and management.
