Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/automation engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience involving automation and robotics.
• Demonstrated experience leading automation projects from design to commissioning and deployment.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC controllers and HMI systems.
• Experience setting up, programming, and troubleshooting industrial robots, including six-axis robots.
• Experience designing automated equipment using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong background in electrical controls, schematic development, and panel fabrication.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) and applicable codes/standards.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing data and apply advanced math/statistics.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and commission automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
• Set up and troubleshoot Star Automation and Yushin robots and six-axis systems.
• Develop and implement motion-control systems (servos/steppers).
• Lead automation projects from design through deployment with defined scope and schedules.
• Develop validation protocols ensuring safety, quality, and industry standards.
