Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks an Advanced Automation Engineer to serve as the primary customer-facing technical resource, translating requirements into robust automation solutions for HSIO Overpass installations.

You will collaborate with customer engineering, manufacturing, and operations to troubleshoot, validate concepts, and drive improvements in tooling, fixtures, and processes, ensuring readiness for production and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary customer‑facing technical resource for automation, installation, handling, and manufacturability of HSIO Overpass cable solutions.
• Build strong technical relationships with customer engineering, automation, manufacturing, and operations teams.
• Lead customer discussions and technical reviews to identify automation opportunities, risks, and potential solutions.
• Own and drive automation‑related customer issues from problem identification through root‑cause analysis, corrective action, validation, and closure.
