Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers. You'll troubleshoot control systems, analyze metrics, mentor junior engineers, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA.

You will work with state-of-the-art technology and drive continuous improvement, ensuring fast and accurate order

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, automation engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Apply SME on troubleshooting and drive downtime elimination.
• Collaborate with Operations/FC Start-up/ACE teams to optimize MHE systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems (PLC/PC, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus).
• Monitor MHE metrics and address performance issues with maintenance/ops.
• Provide escalation support during and after hours for hardware/software repairs.
