Amazon is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize reliability and performance of material handling equipment in our fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot complex control systems, lead continuous improvement projects, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems.

You'll work with PLC/PC controllers, multiple networks, and SCADA, driving design improvements and ensuring safe, efficient operations to support Amazon's fast,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/Automation or 4+ years PLC programming/automation experience.
• 4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in process/production environments.
• 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
• 4+ years of Ladder Logic with Siemens/AB/Codesys.
• Flexible schedule; weekends, nights, holidays.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Responsabilités

• Apply SME to troubleshoot engineering issues and guide actions to reduce downtime of critical assets.
• Collaborate with Operations, FC Start-up, software teams, ACES and Safety to optimize MHE systems and implement projects.
• Understand, maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems, PLCs, and industrial networks.
• Monitor MHE metrics and analyze performance across operations.
• Provide escalation support during/after hours to repair hardware or controls software.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely.
