Qualifications
- BSME, BSEE, or BSIE required.
- 3-10 years minimum experience as a Manufacturing or Automation Engineer working in a similar industry.
- Launch management – demonstrated experience with structured APQP process.
- Lead engineer for product deployment from drawing to deployment readiness validation.
- Experience interacting with highly computerized systems through code development and system integration.
- Ability to lead improvement initiatives toward target process conditions.
- Understanding of robotics, PLC programming, code development, machine logic, and SLAM.
- Experience with lean processes in a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Mentor automation capabilities and align with plant leadership on automation system progression.
- Develop mentees toward capable-to-mentor status and support multiple DC facilities.
- Lead automation projects from procurement to validation aligned with DC group initiatives.
- Continue to drive standardization of work processes across the facility.
