Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to design and implement automation across enterprise infrastructure. You will work remotely on high-priority automation tasks, building Ansible playbooks, RESTful APIs, and IaC pipelines.

You will collaborate within Agile teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions while adhering to policy and security standards. The role requires strong Linux/Windows administration background and extensive Ansible experience, with potential for on-call duties and

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in infrastructure automation; higher for other combos.
• Experience with ARIA/vRealize automation and Ansible in enterprise environments.
• Deep Linux and Windows Server administration with automation provisioning.
• Strong Python, Bash, or PowerShell for custom automation.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Knowledge of secure coding and banking environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate high-priority tasks across infrastructure and operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, modules, and workflows.
• Develop RESTful APIs to orchestrate automation workflows.
• Build IaC with CI/CD and automated testing for reliability.
• Collaborate in Agile/SAFe with cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-call support and ensure security compliance.
