Peraton in the United States seeks a Senior Automation Engineer - Ansible to design, develop, and operate automated infrastructure solutions across multi-platform environments. You will build playbooks, roles, and workflows to enable self-service and secure automation within enterprise contexts.

You will lead end-to-end automation projects, collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service teams, and implement RESTful APIs and IaC pipelines while adhering to banking and enterprise security

Qualifications

• 8+ years with BS/BA in CS/IS or related field.
• 6+ years with MS/MA in CS/IS or related field.
• 3+ years with PhD in CS/IS or related field.
• End-to-end enterprise software development life cycle experience, automation including maintenance and support.
• Advanced Ansible expertise for complex and secure environments.

Responsabilités

• Work on multiple service automation engagements to automate high priority tasks and end-to-end workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible for secure enterprise environments.
• Lead full software development lifecycle for automation projects from requirements to deployment and hand-over.
• Create advanced automation scripts in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell to address complex requirements.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI/Flask to orchestrate automation workflows.
• Build and optimize IaC solutions with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices.
