Job summary

Empower AI is seeking an Automation Engineer (Tier 0 Self-Service and RPA) to design and deliver intelligent automation for a high-volume IT Customer Support program within a DoD agency. You will implement ServiceNow-based self-service, AI-enabled workflows, and ITSM integrations to improve deflection, First Contact Resolution, and accuracy.

The role requires a US citizenship, active clearance, 10+ years in software development or automation, and hands-on ServiceNow experience; this is a remote

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance.
Able to obtain Top Secret eligibility if required.
Minimum 10 years of software development or automation engineering experience.
Hands-on experience developing on ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deliver intelligent automation on the ITSM platform (ServiceNow) including VT, flows, and APIs.
Engineer AI-enabled Tier 0 self-service capabilities and status-check automation.
Develop predictive analytics and AI/ML models on service data for trends and recommendations.
Automate repetitive technician tasks using PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, and REST APIs.
Follow Agile processes with stakeholder demonstrations and acceptance.
