Job summary
Humana is seeking a Principal Automation Engineer to lead enterprise automation strategies and scalable frameworks. You will partner with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Product, and QA teams to accelerate software delivery through modern automation and AI-enabled quality practices.
This senior role requires hands-on leadership, mentorship of SDETs, and building reusable automation components using Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, and API automation within Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of software quality engineering, automation engineering, SDET, or software engineering experience.
- 8+ years designing and implementing enterprise automation frameworks.
- Programming in Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, Cypress, Appium, API automation.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise automation architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Drive AI-enabled testing strategies and agents.
- Lead DevOps, CI/CD integrations and shift-left testing practices.
- Mentor Quality Engineers and provide best-practice guidance.
