Job summary

You will develop intuitive HMI screens and drive projects from ideation through hand‑off to operations, collaborating across mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver cutting‑edge satellite production tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, physics, or computer science discipline.
• 5+ years experience in industrial or factory automation design or electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage automation projects from ideation to hand-off to ops.
• Architect and debug PLC code with structured, maintainable solutions for high-volume manufacturing.
• Ensure safety with ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and equipment.
• Create simple, intuitive HMI screens for complex machines.
• Design electrical systems compliant with NEC, NFPA, UL508A.
• Plan schedules and budgets and lead the team to meet milestones.
