Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to join its client in Cincinnati, OH. You will design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain site-wide control systems to improve efficiency and safety across manufacturing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electronics/automation/mechatronics or related experience, 5+ years of PLC design and debugging, and proficiency with Rockwell Studio 5000, RS Logix 5000, FactoryTalk, and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronics technology, automation, mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs (preferably Allen-Bradley).
• Proficiency with Rockwell software and EtherNet/IP industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain site-wide control systems for efficiency and safety.
• Lead engineering changes, equipment upgrades, and cross-department initiatives to support manufacturing processes.
• Assist with implementing new tools and processes, providing training to team members.
