Otsuka ICU Medical LLC in Austin, TX seeks an engineering leader for automation and controls improvements spanning design, validation, and commissioning in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will provide SME level support, create P&IDs, wiring schematics, and lead projects from scoping through validation, with cgmp compliance.

Bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 4+ years in controls is required; travel under 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related)
• Minimum 4 years of controls/automation experience
• Experience developing machine and process control systems in pharma/food/cosmetic industries
• Proven ability to design, validate, and optimize control systems

Responsabilités

• Provide SME guidance for equipment and control systems
• Lead troubleshooting and problem solving on automation issues
• Analyze opportunities for process equipment and network/server improvements
• Create/update P&IDs, wiring schematics, and I/O drawings
• Provide scope, design, FAT/SAT/start-up and validation support
• Develop and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and Vision/Robot Controllers
• Contribute to long-range replacement and lifecycle plans
• Maintain cgmp compliance and train new staff
