Otsuka ICU Medical LLC in Austin, TX seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead designated production areas, ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, and optimize schedules and costs. You will hire, train, and develop staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, documentation, and adherence to SOPs and batch records, contributing to on-time delivery of IV solutions and patient care.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or higher required in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing or related field, preferably as a Supervisor, or similar position is required.
• Candidates without a degree will be considered provided they have 6+ years of direct supervisory experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in pharmaceutical, food or cosmetic manufacturing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises assigned manufacturing area daily to achieve department goals.
• Hires, trains, evaluates, motivates and develops employees in production areas.
• Ensures that products manufactured meet all quality and customer service standards.
• Monitors and adjusts production schedules to optimize throughput and customer service.
• Investigates root cause of quality, quantity or processing issues and implements solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Ensures safety and environmental awareness and compliance by all department employees.
• Participates in the establishment of area safety rules and budgeting.
• Participates in ongoing cost reduction program.
• Assures compliance to all regulatory standards, including on-time compliance training for employees.
• Completes and reviews critical documentation including SOPs, Batch Records, and Exception Documents.
