Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Sr. Automation/Controls Engineer to lead automation across our manufacturing sites. You will design, program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC/HMI systems, with deep knowledge of Rockwell Automation tools and safety standards.

You will coordinate with suppliers, perform cost-benefit analyses, and drive technology transfers, all while improving yield, reliability, and data connectivity for better plant performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls/Automation engineering or related field.
5+ years designing, programming, commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems in manufacturing.
Strong experience with Rockwell Automation platforms and LAN/fieldbus networks.

Responsibilities

Lead design, programming, integration, and commissioning of automation systems.
Develop standards for PLC/HMI programming and electrical schematics.
Support FAT/SAT, vendor reviews, and technology transfers.
Implement OT cybersecurity and safety practices in control systems.
Collaborate across manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and IT teams.
