Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Automation/Controls Engineer to advance automation strategies across manufacturing sites.

You will define, implement, and support automation systems, lead equipment installation, commissioning, and technology transfer, and improve yield, productivity, and safety. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of controls, automation, or manufacturing engineering experience with hands-on responsibility.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior expert in industrial automation and controls across manufacturing operations.
Lead installation, programming, integration, commissioning, and tech transfer activities.
Develop and maintain PLC/HMI programming standards and controls documentation.
Design, program, commission, and troubleshoot Rockwell control systems (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) and FactoryTalk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance, reliability and productivity.
