Job summary

Madix, Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to design, program, and troubleshoot HMIs and PLCs, ensuring reliable production.

You will install and integrate new equipment, calibrate sensors, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to start up systems smoothly. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical/automation fields and 5+ years in a similar role, with strong PLC and AutoCAD skills, knowledge of robotics, and a commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and relay logic knowledge.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of robotic systems and industrial automation integration.
• Proven troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• HMI and control system programming, design, and troubleshooting for user-friendly functionality.
• Develop, modify, and optimize PLC ladder logic and related control programs.
• Install new production equipment and integrate sensors, robotics, and automated systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams for smooth start-up.
• Monitor systems, diagnose issues, and minimize production interruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
